Think of a time you felt nervous doing something completely normal and legal. Was it last week? A year ago?
Think of a time you were wrongly accused of something. Was it something big, or just taking your sister’s shirt?
Think of a time you experienced something unfair. Were you angry? Did you fight back?
Think of a time someone looked at you funny. Did you get a haircut? A bad spray tan? Did you feel uncomfortable?
Think of a time someone thought they were saying something nice to you, but really it made you feel hurt or uncomfortable. Were they complimenting you on something you weren’t proud of? Saying they were surprised you pulled off an outfit?
Think of something that’s done to you repeatedly, maybe by the same person. It may have been annoying, or even funny at first, but now you just wish it would stop.
Think of a day in which you experienced all six of these things. Can’t think of one? You must be white.
