I am beautiful because I am strong. I fight my battles until I am victorious and I never give up along the way. I am beautiful because of the way my pear-colored eyes glow, just like black cats do at midnight. I am beautiful because I walk with my head held high, not letting anyone treat me like I’m something I’m not. I am beautiful because of the way my freckles appear in the summer sunlight to speckle my face before their winter hibernation. I am beautiful because my mom is beautiful, my grandma is beautiful and my friends are beautiful. I am beautiful because my long arms give bigger hugs filled with more love. I am beautiful because my heart never stops expanding and I’m full of forgiveness. I am beautiful because my laugh is contagious and echoes for everyone to hear and, once I’m smiling, I will never stop. I am beautiful when I’m happy, in love, blushing, excited, and in euphoria, but I’m also beautiful when I’m angry, terrified, embarrassed, shy, repulsed, and screaming. Lastly, I am beautiful because I have the power to see beauty in everyone, even if we aren’t on the best terms. I see beauty in the world when things are bad and needing help. I’m beautiful because I’m surrounded by beautiful things and because I am loved.
